About Us
The Plant Protectors Golf Association was founded over 6 decades ago by a few Agricultural professionals who felt that the best way to celebrate the end of another successful growing season was to hold a golf event. The tradition continues with the help of dedicated individuals from across the agriculture industry, volunteering their time and effort to make the annual tournament a success.
The event has blossomed into one of the most sought after golf tournaments in the Valley. Open to anyone involved in production agriculture, entry includes great golf, refreshments, tee prizes, no host cocktail hour, dinner, prize drawing, raffle, and awards.

As a group, we are proud to not only put on a great golf tournament, but to also present the Palmore Scholarship to Fresno State students pursuing a career in California agriculture. In honor of Larry Palmore, the Plant Protectors Golf Association gives out thousands of dollars in scholarships every year to highly qualified students.
The tournament and scholarships would not be possible without the generous support of so many from across the industry. We aim to keep the tradition of great golf and generous scholarships for many more decades to come. We are truly grateful for the support, and look forward to coming together again in the fall.
